PROJECT DETAILS
Salomé is a tragedy by Oscar Wilde. The play tells in one act a version of the Biblical story of stepdaughter of the tetrarch Herod Antipas, who falls in love with John the Baptist, however he doesn't love her. Consequently, Salomé requests the head of John the Baptist as a reward for pleasing Herod for her dancing, which is described as the dance of the seven veils.
